About the companyDue to business growth, a global group and publicly traded MNC is now seeking an Assistant FP&A Accountant to join their collaborative finance team in Hong Kong.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager, this newly created Assistant FP&A Accountant could contribute to high-impact financial planning and analysis, support month-end reporting, and participate in exciting transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure timely, accurate management reporting and financial analysis.
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and report generation.
- Assist in compiling monthly management reports and performance insights.
- Contribute to KPI analysis and performance tracking.
- Help develop forecasts and annual budgets.
- Participate in finance transformation and system integration initiatives.
- Handle ad hoc reporting tasks and projects, including SAP vendor master data management.
- Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in management reporting or FP&A.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective multitasking and time management abilities under tight deadlines.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Experience with SAP preferred; Oracle and OneStream knowledge is a plus.
