Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller & Company Secretary for a HK-listed company with a Chinese background. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to long-term collaboration with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance:

• Oversee announcements, circulars, and disclosures.
• Manage connected transactions and ensure compliance with Listing Rules.

Group Financial Reporting:

• Lead monthly/ quarterly consolidation for HKEX reporting.
• Prepare interim and annual reports (including drafting notes to financial statements).
• Ensure HKFRS/IFRS compliance and handle audit coordination.

Internal Controls & Processes:

• Strengthen financial controls for compliance.
• Review intercompany reconciliations and group treasury operations.

Company Secretarial - Governance & Compliance:

• Organize board and committee meetings (prepare agendas, minutes, resolutions).
• File annual returns, statutory forms (e.g., changes in directors/shareholdings).
• Advise directors on Corporate Governance Code and ESG reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Degree holder in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification(s) with CPA, ACCA, HKICPA, HKCGI is a must.
• At least 8 years' audit and in-house experience in relation to finance and accounting with a Hong Kong Main Board listed company.
• IPO experience advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of HK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Well-organized, committed and responsible.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (both Mandarin & Cantonese).
