Morgan McKinley is working with a Top 10 accountancy firm that is looking to hire an Innovation Tax Manager for their growing London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice where you'll work with businesses across a wide range of sectors - including technology, engineering, retail, food & beverage, telecoms, and aerospace. You'll play a key role in helping clients unlock R&D tax relief, while also gaining exposure to some of the most innovative and cutting-edge projects in the market.

The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to take real ownership of your client portfolio. You'll be liaising with engineers and finance teams, drafting and reviewing technical narratives, preparing cost analyses, and ensuring claims are maximised and compliant. You'll also get involved in business development and play a part in mentoring junior colleagues.

About you:

• Strong experience in Innovation Taxes / R&D tax relief (Patent Box knowledge desirable).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Strong project management ability, able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident in managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term relationships.
• Ideally CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent), though strong experience will also be considered.
