Interim Financial Accountant - Bath Area
£ Competitive Day Rate | Immediate Start | Hybrid Working

Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation based in the Bath area to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Accountant.

We're looking for a strong technical accountant who can hit the ground running, ideally someone who is qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and has a solid background in financial reporting and statutory accounting. This role would be well-suited to someone with practice experience or a similar technical accounting background. We are looking for candidates that are on a short notice period (ideally no longer than 2 weeks) and can commit to the assignment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
• Supporting year-end close processes and working with auditors
• Delivering balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data
• Providing technical accounting support to the wider finance team
• Assisting with process improvements and system efficiency's where needed
