Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and annual financial closings under both JGAAP and USGAAP
• Support internal and external audits, including SOX and group-level reporting
• Manage accounts payable processes and employee expense reimbursements
• Collaborate with global teams on intercompany transactions and integration
• Oversee tax filings and payments, and support tax audits when required
• Lead and implement process improvements across finance and reporting functions

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including closings, audits, and tax filings in Japanese or multinational companies

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of JGAAP, USGAAP, and bookkeeping (Level 2 or higher). Proficiency with accounting tools like SAP, Freee, and Slack

Soft Skills:

• Proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, and collaborative in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Fluent
• English: Intermediate to Business level

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Background in financial services, payments, or credit industries
• Experience working in lean teams or with overseas parent company integrations
