An excellent opportunity to work at a global asset manager in London. In this role, you will be responsible for the pricing and reference data supporting the creation and maintenance of securities, along with the daily pricing of various financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the securities master database, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for all financial instruments across asset classes.
• Oversee daily pricing processes, validating and updating prices from various market data sources.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, risk, and operations teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and data anomalies.
• Perform regular reconciliations and data quality checks to identify and rectify pricing errors.
• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of data management workflows and controls.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and reporting requirements related to pricing and securities data.
• Liaise with external data vendors and internal IT teams to troubleshoot and optimize securities master system performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards related to pricing and data management.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing, securities data management, or related roles within asset management, banking, or financial services.
• Proven experience working with securities master systems (e.g., GoldenSource, Markit EDM, Bloomberg AIM, or similar).
• Strong understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products.
• Proficiency with Excel and database management tools; familiarity with SQL or scripting is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively across teams and with vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
