Huron Valley Electric is a full service electrical contractor operating primarily in Southeast Michigan.  Our primary focus is on quality electrical installations in commercial, industrial and healthcare facilities.  It is our aim to implement our expertise and experience in meeting the needs of our customers in the electrical marketplace.

Huron Valley Electric’s project management team is the reason we are able to accomplish projects like these.  As technology in the construction industry continues to grow, an increasing number of projects require high-level management expertise. Our project management team coordinates implementation of the project design with HVE’s internal engineering, and field electricians to maximize productivity and efficiency, while simultaneously managing the budget and project deliverables to provide our customers a service of the highest quality.  

New hires to our project management team are immediately exposed to real life projects where they are introduced to HVE project scheduling software, estimating and budgeting software, management processes, and CAD software. All internal tools are utilized to support the project and our field electricians.  As experience is gained, involvement grows with independent management within the team with the goal leading to an exciting career that develops and grows with the company. Job requirements

2-3 years (mid-level) of Project Management experience in the construction industry. Experience with commercial/industrial construction and installation projects.
Working knowledge of the codes and standards related to electrical installations. Comprehensive knowledge of all construction phases and work planning.
Previous cost estimating and supervisory experience. Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and blueprints.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Knowledge of current computer technologies including Microsoft Project and other project management software applications. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion.

Min Education:  HS Diploma/Some College
