Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and fluent English-speaking Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience in the consumer goods industry (FMCG/Retail). This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Tax, and other related functions. The Senior Accounting Manager will play a key role in driving financial compliance, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, and Tax. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Tax Compliance: Manage all tax-related activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory filings. Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure full compliance with local and international tax laws. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes and systems. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team. Strategic Support: Collaborate with senior management to support strategic financial planning and decision-making. Provide insights and analysis to support business growth and profitability. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on the consumer goods industry (FMCG/Retail). Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Skills: Experience in multinational companies or working in a global environment. Knowledge of IFRS and PRC GAAP is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to drive change and implement new processes.
