Are you experienced in hunting land for renewable energy projects? We are looking for a new colleague to source land for energy project development – maybe you are the one?

As Land Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for identifying prospective project sites, identifying landowners, and negotiating relevant agreements. You will be an integral person in our office!
Hunting for a greener tomorrow
Your main responsibility is to ensure an increasing development pipeline by securing land for development projects. Your main tasks are exclusively related to the US market and include:
- identifying and securing suitable areas for new development and growth opportunities.
- Formulating and implementing organizational strategy for targeting, negotiating, and acquiring key sites and land.
- Meeting with landowners and negotiating necessary agreements for acquisition and development.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with land owners and community stakeholders that foster a collaborative environment for renewable energy from development through decommissioning.
This position is based at our U.S. headquarters in Escondido, California, and may include hybrid working options. President of Eurowind Energy US Development LLC., Bo Scholer, states:

Compensation:
Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience.

Requirements
Passionate about renewable energy
To succeed in this position we expect you to have extensive experience in land acquisition and a relevant educational background. Moreover, we anticipate that you have:
- Experience working in the renewable energy, forestry, or agricultural industry,
- A proven track record in securing land development and negotiating acquisition agreements, or other relevant negotiation experience.
- Ability to work on several projects at the same time.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
This position will require trave to domestic project locations (15%-30%) and international travel to our Danish headquarter once or twice per year.
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
