Description

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Director (Publishers) to drive our growth in the region. You'll be responsible for for demoing our solution, closing new business and meeting or overachieving targets. 

The is a full-time position based in New York City, but the role can also be remote.

Sales is at the heart of Burt Intelligence and nothing is more important to us than our customers' success. It is your job to fuel our growth by strategically pitching our portfolio of products to executives at prospect companies. This means create, build, manage and close sales opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Win new business
  • Meet with senior-level customers to understand their business needs.
  • Prospect into publishers, comfortably selling to VP & senior executives, navigating through multiple decision-makers within the ad operations and other related departments.
  • Nurture and cultivate prospects through the sales process.
  • Convert inbound leads to closed opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Success team to continuously evolve the strategy for selling multiple products and services into media organizations
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to share customer feedback and provide specific and actionable feedback to help delight your customers
  • Consistently and regularly use SalesForce to track opportunities, activities, and forecasting

Requirements

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of total sales experience, where you have met or exceeded your targets
  • 3+ years of SaaS/sales experience preferably with an emphasis on publisher relationships. Mar-tech, ad-tech, and media space experience preferred
  • Experience and comfort in presenting, demoing and working directly with prospects across all levels - including C-Level
  • Experience involving discovery and consensus-building across multiple business divisions (e.g. Revenue Ops, Sales, Finance, AdOps, IT, Procurement)
  • Experience selling to media companies and a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape preferred
