Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager role with responsibility for developing and managing the Enterprise business process strategy within our complex sourcing function. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will focus on developing and evolving the portfolio of business processes to manage volatility, ensure stability of the supply chain, mitigate risk, and deliver a competitive advantage for the Enterprise and value to our customer. The role requires further engagement with Senior Management on the identification of key business strategies and projects that drive the Enterprise commodity strategy; including working alongside several cross-functional teams such as IT, Supply Chain and Finance . Responsibilities also include building processes to systematically support supplier performance expectations with concentration on quality, delivery, innovation, continuous improvement and cost management. This position will lead strategic and tactical initiatives and serve as a key collaborator with other functional areas including engineering, operations, RDI, quality, and finance.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead key supply chain system initiatives and business processes that drive value across the enterprise and support a long term resilient supply chain.
  • Develop key strategic partnerships that create long-term, win-win commitments between our organization and drive improvements in the area of quality, delivery, collaboration, continuous improvement, and cost
  • Accountable to develop, implement and scale enterprise business process strategies to support all commodity areas (direct and indirect) with cross-functional collaboration that improves the position of the company
  •  Define a comprehensive sourcing technology roadmap to support enterprise growth and visibility to the end to end integration of the Andersen supply chain
  • Lead key supplier executive summits, bringing key executives from both Andersen and our suppliers together to further develop our overall relationship and strategy going forward
  • Leverage resident expertise in commodity management through an understanding of business requirements, market trends, and through underlying cost factors, and reliability in achieving company objectives
  • Lead complex negotiations and leverage internally to ensure agreements properly address risk, sustainability, and meet business demands at the lowest total acquisition cost.
  • Ensure alignment of activities and resources within sourcing across functional areas with cross-organization collaboration and associate involvement where appropriate.
  • Evolve and automate business tools, practices and processes to improve effectiveness of supply chain service outcomes.
  • Align and organize the work of individuals and teams through priority identification and assures cross-organization collaboration and integration to meet customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve process efficiency, quality, risk mitigation,cost and customer consistent with enterprise strategies.
  • Leads a high-performing team, which could include Strategic Sourcing, IT professionals, and/or supply chain analysts to execute against the functional strategy

Qualifications - External

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sourcing/Supply Chain/Operations/Information Technology experience of a minimum of 10 years.
  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, IT,  or related field or business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategy with a strong background in systems implementation and in the evaluation of key market dynamics
  • Experience with complex negotiations, internal influencing and a proven track record of delivery results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of individuals in the end-to-end Supply Chain and drive collaboration to deliver results
  • Proven leader who creates energy, lives integrity, leads change, and creates a vision and plan to achieve goals

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
